I didnt realize you guys were ultra-marathoners.. ;)

you know how I feel about your groups training plans...

given your base distance, you could definitely add more 20+ runs into your training schedule. like a lot more. =)Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14996708785266441808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6829869205188084982.post-79640778396757465112012-05-17T01:19:19.926-04:002012-05-17T01:19:19.926-04:00I ran a ton from October to Januaray, training for...I ran a ton from October to Januaray, training for Surf City, like 200 miles a month or close to it, and I had one or two weeks above 55 miles. That's very difficult to reach. I'd stick with something much more manageable. I'd suggest to run at lesat 30 miles a week if possible. I know that's tough with just four days a week but I think that would make a big difference if you wanted to finish faster. I'd also throw in some speedwork for sure, again, if you want a faster time and better performance.L.B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03932409909043501781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6829869205188084982.post-90363510497430622312012-05-16T21:02:14.396-04:002012-05-16T21:02:14.396-04:00Hal Higdon Novice 2 is pretty low mileage, 4 days...Hal Higdon Novice 2 is pretty low mileage, 4 days/week, includes tempo runs. http://halhigdon.com/training/51138/Marathon-Novice-2-Training-ProgramTy @tyruns.blogspothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05942912593289802443noreply@blogger.com
