After having a blast at Paul & Sabrina's wedding last night, I got up early this morning to run my 'long run' that I skipped yesterday. I was feeling pretty good until about mile 4, when I started to burp whiskey. As much as I love Jack Daniels on the way down, it is much less fun the next morning :)
However, in a weird way, it kept me motivated to finish the run and get home. Since I planned out a large loop route, all I wanted to do was finish the loop and head home faster to get this gross taste out of my mouth! So, the Jack actually helped my run - I would have never thought of that. I don't think I'll incorporate this into my training plan too much though.
