Coach even made us medals!
We did 5 (different) loops of 2.62 miles a piece for an awesome early-morning half marathon!
In fact, it was less than 5 minutes off my best half marathon time!
Afterwards, everyone had to jet off to get to their respective families' houses but I had a bit of time to kill and was STARVING, so I stopped off at our local diner and had quite possibly the best breakfast ever!Yes, there was whip cream on top of the hot chocolate, but I had to dive right in before I thought to take a pic :)
Now it's off to my sister's house to celebrate Murphy Family Christmas with these delicious things in tow:
pumpkin pie decorated with reindeer
and yummylicious brownies for hot-fudge sundaes!!
Merry Christmas everyone!!
Congrats on the 1/2! I was going to run again today but a friend called with last minute tickets to the Redskins/Vikings game and I went to that instead. Merry Christmas, super runner!
