Last night's run started pretty rainy and ended as a Christmas wonderland! Snow was everywhere! It was sticking to my vest (that's what you get for running in a fleece vest and not dri-fit material) and by the end of the run, we were leaving footprints! Just shy of 6 miles felt great with the 8 other members of our group that braved the weather.
This is the first time I can remember having snow in Michigan in November - actual, accmulated snow on the ground, not just flurries. My drive into work this morning was beautiful - the trees lining the interstate were covered in snow and it was so pretty. Of course I don't have a picture of it; I was driving!!
Working at an elementary school, snow is a huge topic! Everyone was hoping for a snow day today :) But, since school wasn't canceled, we can now sled at recess!! Did anyone else have sledding at their school? I sure didn't but our kids LOVE IT!!
Don't forget to enter my very first giveaway by tonight. I'll post a winner tomorrow :)
